How to Get Started with the See App

  1. Download and open the See App for Apple or for Android .
  2. Explore and watch a video or two. You can also try the sample meditation. 
  3. As soon as you're ready, tap Sign Up.
  4. You can sign up with Google or Apple, or create a new account with your first name, email, and a secure password.
  5. Then you’ll be asked to activate the app. Once you do, you can use the flashclassic, or primemeditations, as well as the daily minis. (For more info on activation, check out these articles.)
  6. Before you begin, be sure to watch the 60-second Quick Start video in the app. It's super important!
  7. Use the See App at just once in the morning and once again right before sleep at night. Once during the day if you can be helpful too. 


Additional Tips

  • Find a place where you can be alone, if that’s possible.
  • Sit in a comfortable position. No special seating. Just be comfortable.
  • Tap your session and listen to the directions. There is nothing else to do.
  • Don’t worry about your breath. Abandon completely any affirmations, mantras, or visualizations you may have used in the past. Simply allow this Non-Contemplative technique to be your new method.
  • When your mind wanders, and it will, awareness will gently bring you back. Don’t worry, you’ll be reminded during the session.
  • Don't overdo it. This is a powerful spiritual tool. Keep each session to no more than 15 minutes and just a few times each day.
  • Don't underdo it. Maintain the twice-daily minimum.
  • Do not practice Non-Contemplative Meditation in order to get anything. Just be patient and persistent. The benefits will come. Don’t fixate on them. The first aim is to wake up and then practice coming to the present. That’s all this is. The outcomes will come on their own.
